Synercrete’23 – General Feedback

Αγαπητή Χαρά καλησπέρα,

Με αυτή την ευκαιρία θα ήθελα να ευχαριστήσω εσένα και την ομάδα της Mastermind για την εξαιρετική συνεργασία.

Η εκπόνηση του 3ήμερου συνεδρίου έκρυβε πίσω της ένα σοβαρό διάστημα προετοιμασίας (2 χρόνων περίπου?) στο οποίο ήμασταν σε συνεχή σχεδόν επικοινωνία. Η αμεσότητα της επικοινωνίας μας αυτή θεωρώ πως έκανε τη διαφορά στην τελική οργάνωση του συνεδρίου καθώς και η υπομονή και βοήθεια σου με τα διάφορα ερωτήματα / αιτήματα / αμφιβολίες που έθετα ανά διαστήματα. Κατά τη διάρκεια του συνεδρίου, αυτό που έκανε εντύπωση σε όλους (εκτός από εμένα καθώς ήμουν σχεδόν σίγουρος για την εξαιρετική επαγγελματική συμπεριφορά σας) ήταν το πόσο ευπροσήγορη και βοηθητική ήταν η ομάδα σας καθώς και η γενικότερα οργάνωση του συνεδρίου. Οφείλω να παρατηρήσω επίσης την άμεση ανταπόκρισή σας σε προβλήματα που προέκυψαν, π.χ. ελλιπή εδέσματα στο welcome reception, καθώς και να αναγνωρίσω το επαγγελματισμό και εξυπηρετικότητα της A/V ομάδας. Δεν προέκυψε κάποιο πρόβλημα κατα τη διάρκεια του συνεδρίου το οποίο δεν αντιμετωπίστηκε άμεσα και αποτελεσματικά, κατι που είναι αξιέπαινο. Δε μπορώ πραγματικά να σκεφτώ κάτι αρνητικό. Ως «μάθημα» μελλοντικά, πιστεύω μόνο τα badges πρεπει να είναι εκτυπωμένα και από τις δύο πλευρες.

Για το συνεδριακο κέντρο Μήλου κυρίως θα ήθελα να τονίσω ότι είναι ένα εξαιρετικό μέρος που μπορεί να υποστηρίξει διεθνή συνέδρια υψηλής ποιότητας. Φυσικά η συμβολή του κ. Καντσού και της ομάδας του κέντρου στη διαχείρισή του είναι υποδειγματική. Το κέντρο θα επωφελούταν από μία αναβάθμιση εξοπλισμού (projectors) στο Β κτίριο και ίσως απο προσθήκη πανιών προβολής στις αίθουσες.

Εν κατακλείδι, θα έλεγα ότι το Synercrete’23 ήταν ένα από τα πιο καλά οργανωμένα συνεδρία (δεδομένων και των γεωγραφικών προκλήσεων) που έχω εμπλακεί ή παρακολουθήσει και γνωρίζω πως με όσους σύνεδρους συζήτησα, συμμερίζονταν την άποψη αυτή.

Σε ευχαριστώ πολύ για τη συνεργασία και είμαι σίγουρος πως θα συνεργαστούμε ξανά στο μέλλον.

You have outdone yourselves once again: thank you so much for convening such a phenomenally well organized Spring School. The talent and energy amongst the young investigators was palpable throughout, both for the science and for the history of the city! It is such a special conference- you bring together the brightest young minds and ignite collaboration, creativity and community.

The friendships and networks forged at the spring school will last a lifetime. I hope you know how much it is appreciated by all the multidisciplinary and international colleagues. I know full well how much work goes into making an event like this run so smoothly.
